The incredible internet marketing course, Week 1, Mission 2.

The incredible internet marketing course, Week 1, Mission 2.

Today we continue my journal of the One Funnel Away Challenge, today is day 2 of week 1. We completed the pre-training last week which was great preparation as the real work now begins.

The challenge can be found here, or if you go to the “One Funnel Away” Challenge, site, you’ll see the sales funnel and you’ll see that it’s $100 to join the challenge, which is incredible value for money.

Today is titled: “Greatest Showman” mainly because of an example used to explain how it is possible to sell a $20 DVD, for $100.

Russell’s video today is 40-minutes and begins by teaching that if you are selling a product, you are competing with everyone else, so if you are not the cheapest you will lose. So if we create an offer, around the product we intend to sell, we increase the value and then are no longer competing with everyone else. So if we increase the value, we can increase the price.

Now we move into offer creation, by first creating as many products as possible, so that as we create our offer later, we can pull relevant products into our offer from our list. The information in this video is immense, lots of extremely valuable advice on how to find great products that we can add to our offers later.

Also, a 36-page book in the members’ area is provided as part of this challenge, with many ideas for creating products, mostly digital. A fantastic asset and addition as we move to practically build a working sales funnel.

People will spend more money on the same material that is packaged in a different way.

So this is how we can take the Greatest Showman DVD worth $20, package the DVD as an offer and can then sell for $100. Because the preserved value increased drastically.

People often say, “But will this work for my business”? but once I understand these principles I can plug this in, and make an irresistible offer.

Speaking the offer

Stephen Larson’s coaching call is 59-minutes today and starts with an interesting tv advertisement selling; “Sham-wow” cleaning cloth. As Stephen goes through the sales message, he highlights all the techniques used that we are learning in this challenge, regarding marketing, sales, and the close.

A very important point to understand as we build our offer is that my perception of price is not my customer’s perception of value.

Extremely valuable are the problems that are revealed by my customers after a purchase, because we can address these issues and can then add items to the offer that fix these issues. These concerns can be found by asking my dream customer, complaints are very different, and not good if we can’t address these as we add to our offer.

Jim Edward’s video is 10-minutes today and looks further at hacking other peoples website or funnels to look for offer stacks, looked at an example of good and bad titles, and finding offers online that are worth our time to offer hack.

Today has been another good day, lots to think about, especially regarding how potentially valuable it can be to sell an offer rather than just a product.

See you tomorrow as we continue with mission 3, of the start of this challenge.

Thank you,

Roy Clayton.
